First Post, Statement of Intention

Hi Everyone (No one right now).

This is my first posting and mainly it is for posting a picture of me for use in my profile.

I feel that I need a picture in my profile because I fear that everyone will think that is actually a 9 year old with nothing better to do with their time. Also the grammar and spelling will be at that level.
Believe me, all the 9 year olds I know have plenty to do with their time (Run and around scream arbitrarily). This comment is based upon empirical evidence, gathered over the last two years at de Villiers House, usually whenever I was trying to sleep.

Since I am discussing purposes, I suppose I should let everyone know what the point of this blog is. It is, drum roll please, to chronicle my travels. It is my hope that the places I visit will be of such interest, that they will offset my natural ability to induce boredom. More specifically it is my upcoming trip to Egypt which prompted me to create a blog, and so contribute to the useless information on the World Wide Web. It is also a handy way to let Ma, Pa and Daena know that I'm not dead, without the inconvenience of individual communication;)

So, enjoy, don't enjoy, whatever and don't do crack!
